  • "I’ve known Michael for well over 50 years and would like to relay to anyone reading this, that I have never found anyone more comfortable, disarming and empathetic to talk to. I guess I could just say “easy to talk to” but that doesn’t go far enough. Having someone, that is trust, to speak with is so valuable in today’s world. It’s kind of like having that one emergency number on your phone that you know you can always use and just the comfort of having it makes you feel safer. Our conversations are not often, but impactful and they make me “think” every time and examine myself and how I feel and react. It's one thing for a professional to know what you’re going through, because of their experience and education. But with Michael, it’s well beyond that with his understanding on helping you to understand it. That leads to true change and healing. Thank you Michael. I appreciate you."

  • "It is my great pleasure to write in support of the moral and professional character of Dr. Michael Murrell. Over the past three years I have had the privilege to meet and converse with Dr. Murrell on a regular basis to discuss, debate and come to agreement over a variety of topics ranging from clinical and organizational psychology, philosophical and political issues as well as the state of our personal development. I have come, without exception, to consistently believe Mike Murrell to be a man of high intelligence, professional depth and deeply ingrained character and integrity. Professionally it is quite apparent that he greatly values the personal growth of his clientele and possesses the clinical skills to assist a wide range of clients. As a man I have found him to be interpersonally open, warm, and a man of his word. Beyond all of his many qualities Mike Murrell approaches life’s events and challenges with great dignity and zeal. Please do not hesitate to contact me at drjohnwshepard1@gmail.com regarding further elaboration of my appraisal of this fine gentleman." --— Dr. John W. Shepard

  • "Dr. Murrell is exceptionally competent and educated in his field. He provides a wealth of knowledge for his clients to utilize in real life. I have been extremely skeptical regarding therapists due to previous experiences. A friend who was seeing Dr. Murrell kept sharing about his vast knowledge base and tangible techniques that have helped her along her journey. It made me want to try him, it’s been a great experience. He has been very patient, allowed me to go at my own pace and has given me excellent tools to utilize outside of therapy to achieve my goals. I’m so grateful I gave him a call! He has always been prompt, easy to communicate with, has had quick turnaround with resources and willing to answer questions. Give Dr. Murrell a call-you won’t regret it."
